Mamma Mia!

Mamma Mia! is a fun romantic movie that you might not expect to be as good as it is. For those who don't like musicals, beware, this movie is a musical, but one that you may very well like if you like romance comedies. Mamma Mia is about a young woman named Sophie Sheridan who is about to get married. Before her wedding she reads her mother's diary and finds out that her father is one of three possible men.

Atonement

Atonement is set in 1935 and is about 13-year-old fledgling writer Briony Tallis (Saoirse Ronan) and her family who live a life of wealth and privilege in their enormous mansion. On the warmest day of the year, the country estate takes on an unsettling hothouse atmosphere, stoking Briony's vivid imagination. Robbie Turner (Mr. McAvoy), the educated son of the family's housekeeper, carries a torch for Briony's headstrong older sister Cecilia (Ms. Knightley). Cecilia, he hopes, has comparable feelings; all it will take is one spark for this relationship to combust.

The Princess Bride

The Princess Bride is a movie about a woman named Buttercup who has agreed to marry Prince Humperdink but is kidnapped by some outlaws before she can be married. Her former love Westley - aka - Dread Pirate Roberts - returns to rescue her. There are all kinds of obstacles in Westley's way, and you soon find that the land that Buttercup and Westley live in is not like our land - it's somewhat enchanted with all kind of things from "Rodents of Unusal Size" to shrieking eels, to fire swamps to overcome.

Thor

Kate and Leopold

This fun romantic movie is about a woman named Kate that lives in New York City, present day. One day Kate's ex-boyfriend Stuart knocks on her door with a "visitor" named Leopold. Leopold is from the 19th Century - her ex-boyfriend has brought him back with him from the past. Leopold is confused at where he finds himself, and Kate does not buy his clueless act. Does she ever truly discover who Leopold actually is? This fun movie stars Meg Ryan, Hugh Jackman, and Liev Shreiber.

Lost In Austen

Lost in Austen is a modern take on Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice. Anyone that loved Pride and Prejudice will without a doubt love this movie. The movie follows Amanda Price - a modern day Londoner. She loves Jane Austen and Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett. One day, she is home reading her favorite book, Pride and Prejudice, when someone appears in her bathroom - none other than the famous Elizabeth Bennett. Lizzie has walked through a "portal" which is located in Amanda's bathroom.

This movie is another adaptation of Jane Austen's most famous novel Pride and Prejudice. The movie is about a girl named Elizabeth Bennet who meets an incredibly smart, single, rich man named Mr. Darcy. The problem is Mr. Darcy is proud. Lizzie falls in love with Mr. Darcy, but will his pride - or her pride - keep them apart? This adaptation stars Keira Knightley, Matthew Macfadyen, and Brenda Biethyn.

Ever After

Drew Barrymore stars as Danielle in this twist on the fairy tale of Cinderella. Danielle is a smart, pretty independent girl cursed with a wicked stepmother and stepsisters. One day she meets the crown prince of France and everything changes.

My Future Boyfriend

A curious human from a well-ordered but loveless future, P-A-X-497/341 (aka Pax), played by Barry Watson, returns to the year 2011 to satisfy his curiosity about such archaic concepts as love, passion and winds up making his own discoveries when he meets the woman of his dreams, Elizabeth Barrett, portrayed by Sara Rue, a newly published romance novelist. When Pax doesn't return to the future by the given deadline, Bob (Fred Willard), his fellow scientist, travels back in time to find Pax.
