G-Force movie website loaded with downloads, games, and animals! How about keeping yourself busy for the day playing games? The official G-Force movie website has atleast six games to play, simple, fun, and good for keeping yourself or the kids occupied! The G-Force site also has free downloads: wallpapers, aim icons, and a free screensaver for mac or pc. The rest of the site has the movie stills, synopsis, and the trailers. No special graphics or any fancy designs to make note of, just plain simple fun. Besides, the kids might not understand a website that is too complicated, since this is a movie for kids.

SMR's recommendation: 6 G-Force movie games to play! Play them! Then get some free downloads. That, my friend, is your task for today. Over and out.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince the official website has some free downloads from the movie! A Harry Potter screensaver for pc or mac, Harry Potter buddy icons, and Harry Potter wallpapers are all available for downloading! Dont forget to grab your very own Harry Potter movie poster too! The navigation for the new Harry Potter movie is very elegant. The movie stills float around the screen while you are still able to select each individual image to view. The loading image is a cloud that engulfs the screen, and the background has a 3D feel. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in 3D? Not quite. But the website is very relaxing even though there is not much to do while there. There is an interactive Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince you-tube potion making contest where you can get involved and upload your own video. Read the instructions at the official site to learn more, it looks very fun! The wishlist part of the website at first looked fun and caught my attention. But when you add Harry Potter items to the wishlist they are actual items from the WB store. So, it is a wishlist, but you have to purchase which stinks.

SMR's recommendation:The Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince official site has some free downloads for free. The design is very elegant and attractive. The youtube interactive feature is great for keeping you busy during this long summer. The only negative is that there is not enough on the official website.

I Love You, Beth Cooper the official website doesnt have a single download! But the website for the new movie Starring Hayden Panettiere and Paul Rust does have a free widget you can copy and paste on your favorite website. The other neat feature of the official website is the section for video submissions. Upload your own Beth Cooper moment of truth, create a video spilling the truth about whatever you want. If you video is picked among the rest of the submissions then you could have a chance that it will be broadcast on TV! Pretty cool and maybe worth a shot There are no downloads and no movie stills. Other than the submissions there is not much else to keep you at this website.

SMR's recommendation: We started out this year with a bang! We had 5 star websites all over the place, one after another. But now that summer is here its like movie studios are spending less time and money creating a site worthy of your attention. What gives? Just wait. Ill let you know when you must visit a website, for now this one doesn't fit the bill.

Bruno -worst movie website this year

Sometimes I think that the worst of the movie websites have been found and then I discover that there is always something worse. The worst movie website so far is the website for the new movie Bruno. A spammed up advertisement for anything and everything. The movie website for the new movie Bruno is a trap to show you ads! Ads ads ads! Do you want ads? Get them here no kidding, maybe if you need some advertising space you can rent some of theirs Two thumbs down for this website. Not a single download or anything worth your time.

SMR's recommendation: Dont bother visting. There are some videos to look at after digging through all the advertisements, its not worth it. Shame on movies that spam up the official website, I guess the millions they make in profit isn't enough.

The Hurt Locker

Every now and then I decide to visit a smaller movie website - a movie that's maybe out on limited release - to see if they've done something good enough for me to help spread the word about their movie. Well, The Hurt Locker is a good example of a small movie that made a half-way decent website. Now, dont get me wrong, there's not alot to do there - no games, no interactive anything, but...well, they put some effort into the site. The sound is really good, and move your mouse around the picture and you'll get your menu popping up with a nice sound effect. You'll only find the basics here - gallery, movie trailer, info about the cast and crew, and info about the movie...but I like that they actually made an effort. Nice website to learn about the movie (dont go for games though!)

Movie Synopses: The Hurt Locker is about the technicians of a bomb squad - the Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) squad who search to disarm a wave of roadside bombs on the streets of Baghdad.

Public Enemies- a failed effort

Public Enemies the official movie starring Johnny Depp and Christain Bale looks great! But the official website looks very poor! There are no Public Enemy downloads, there are no extras, no games, nothing for fans. This official website has nothing more than a trailer, synopsis, and a small movie still gallery. So, If you want to judge a movie by its website creativity than this movie will be lame.

SMR's recommendation: Lame website, nothing to interest anybody who would visit, stay clear of this public website - it is the enemy!

Moon on Facebook

The movie website for the upcoming Sony Pictures movie Moon is...interesting. At first glance it looks like it could be a pretty good site, but then it falls flat. Best part of the site? Probably the fact that there are multiple teasers to watch in the "media" section...not only will you find the movie teaser, but also a Q&A session with the Director. That's about it though - I was really hoping for a cool Moon or NASA or space download, but no goodies available. The "links" tab is still listed as "Coming Soon", and frankly, besides becoming a friend of Moon on Facebook, there's just not much else for you to do here. On the plus side, in reading the movie synopses it sounds like the movie could be kind of interesting...

Movie Synopses: In the near-future, an astronaut named Sam Bell is living on the moon working on the base "Sarang". His three year contract is nearly up, when his health starts to deteriorate. Recuperating from an accident, he meets an earlier possible clone version of himself.

Ice Age 3 the official website has enough to offer fans and newbies to the franchise. Download several movie wallpapers, buddy icons, and twitter skins. There is also an Ice Age 3 screensaver for mac or pc, and activity downloads from the movie that are printable, keep the kids busy for a hot day this summer when the heat keeps them indoors! Grab a widget to show your interest for the new Ice Age and post it on your favorite social networking site. Visit the gallery, video, and the movie section to brush up on what Ice Age is all about, just in case you have missed the last two. Several fun games to choose from on the official website. If you have some time to spare check them out. Bubble Trouble game will definitely put a smile on your face and distract you from the normal grind. The last item to mention are the icons of each character at the bottom of the website. Click on each character to find out more about them, and to grab the individual download for each.

My Sisters Keeper official movie website, possibly the worst movie website reviewed this year. The new movie website for the next movie starring Cameron Diaz and Abigail Breslin is a deserted corner of the internet. The only offer on this movie website are a couple of movie wallpapers, the cast and crew section, about the film, and the photo gallery. This is a no frills, boring, cut to the chase website.

SMR's recommendation: Dont bother visiting even if you do need a wallpaper download, as they only offer a couple of choices anyway. It feels to me that this page was set up just so that they could say they have a website up and running. Pass.

The Proposal movie website is a myspace page! Even though it's a myspace page, there are still things you can do, the movie producers have set up links of activities - start by clicking on the "Take the Proposal Temp Challenge" where Ryan Reynolds will ask you questions that you'll need to answer to see if you get a temp job. There's also a link to "The Proposal Quiz" which you can take to see how well you know your friends (you will need a facebook page to take it though which is kind of annoying). One thing however that will keep you coming back to the movie website is that they post "Married on Myspace" websiodes for you to watch. Looking for downloads? Yep, AIM Icons and movie wallpapers are available on the myspace page!

Movie Synopses: Sandra Bullock stars as book editor Margaret who is facing deportation back to Canada unless she takes drastic action. She declares she's engaged to her assistant Andrew (Ryan Reynolds), who carries on the charade but in exchange for some things.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is one of the, if not THE Most anticipated sequel to hit theaters this year. The Transformers movie lived up to all the hype and set the stage for a huge franchise to lead blockbusters for years to come. But how does the website look? I want to do this gently, I dont want you to be disappointed that the only items this huge movie could muster were a few trailers and a couple of wallpaper downloads. If you need a Transformers download you can certainly find ONE here on the official website. If you are looking for more, perhaps behind the scenes footage, or even a movie still gallery dont bother looking on the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen official site.

SMR's recommendation: I couldn't believe it. Surfing to the official website of the most anticipated film this summer only to be snubbed by the franchise. So, this is how they are going to treat us? I see how it is The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen official site has nothing for you, dont waste your time...
