There will be blood or oil? Daniel Day Lewis

The new movie There Will Be Blood, set to be released on December 26, 2007 has not received very much publicity..in fact, when I visited the official movie website I had no idea what the movie was about. The movie website did help with figuring out what the movie was about - it gives a trailer of the There Will Be Blood movie, as well as a gallery of images from the movie, and a synopses of the movie's plot - about Daniel Plainview (played by Daniel Day Lewis), a frontiersman who starts out as an oil miner, and works to become an oil tycoon. (FYI - the movie is inspired by the Upton Sinclair novel Oil!) If you like period movies - set on the frontier at the turn-of-the-century, the movie is going to appeal to you, especially as the trailer makes the movie look really good....but, as far as the There Will Be Blood movie website, the website does not have much to it. No downloads (no aim icons, wallpapers, or desktops), no games, and nothing of real interest besides information on the cast (Daniel Day Lewis, Paul Dano, Kevin J. O'Connor, Ciaran Hinds, and Dillon Freasier) and filmmakers. In short: visit the website if you want to know what the movie is about, but don't visit the website to stay to be entertained, there just isnt much to it. Best Movie Website!
