Every 2 weeks a new sweepstakes* city opens. Play games in that city while it is the “City of the Week” and you will earn entries for a chance to win the City of the Week Sweepstakes - $50,000 in REAL treasure! The entries you earn during this time also count towards the Grand Prize Sweepstakes.Back to the main page, if you click on "Enter Site" (instead of play the hunt) from the National Treasure main page, you'll find yourself watching the National Treasure trailer, and links to add it to your own webpage. Click on the "Games" link and you can play "Gate's Challenge" - a game where you use clues to decode cyphers - very similar to Hangman and very addictive!) or try "Chunnel Racer" game (a race car game where you control a car through the tunnel with only your headlights lighting the way...be careful, you can get hit from behind!), a third game called "Clue Hunt" was listed as "Coming Soon" at the time of this writing. Play the games, you'll have fun! Other links on the main National Treasure page include, videos, trailer, "about", and gallery (where you'll find a nice movie slideshow). When you're done having fun, click on the "Downloads" section to get your screensave, AIM icon, and wallpaper.

National Treasure Book of Secrets- clue hunt, chunnel challenge!
The National Treasure Book of Secrets (National Treasure 2) website is actually located on Disney's site (since it is a Disney movie). It's a high graphics site, so be sure you have a good internet connection. At the main page of Book of Secrets, you'll find 3 links 1.) Enter site 2.)View the movie Trailer. 3.)Play the "world's biggest treasure hunt". Starting backwards from #3, if you click on the link to "win real treasure"/play the treasure hunt, you'll be taken to a complicated-looking page with the statue of liberty. The best way to learn about hte treasure hunt game is to click on the link "How to Play" which is in small print at the bottom of the site. How to play tells you

Awake - Thriller with Jessica Alba
The Awake movie website is sorely lacking in any information besides a very very VERY! brief synopses of the movie, a few movie photos, and a trailer. What it does have alot of information on is the actor's biographies (Hayden Christensen, Jessica Alba, and Terrence Howard star in it). Basically, don't bother visiting the movie website, because you will NOT find movie wallpaper, AIM Icons or anything else fun on the website! (I almost gave it 0 of 5 stars...but hey, the movie makers DID actually put a website up, right? Awake is a psychological thriller about a patient whose anesthesia leaves him awake but paralyzed during surgery, a phenomenon known as "anesthetic awareness"....looks like it could be a really good movie! But you'd never know it from the website.

Cloverfield 1-18-08 - Roar, Trailer, Clues!
Cloverfield (aka 1-18-08) still won't be out until January 18, 2008, but the hype is growing. The Cloverfield website is also growing, but very slowly. Here's what I mean: on the Cloverfield website there are photos - and nothing else! A new photo is added approximately every week. And take note: you will not find a Cloverfield trailer, the synopses of what Cloverfield will be about, or any AIM icons, poster, or other downloads. No movie wallpaper either! You will not even find the names of actors, director, or producer (note - it is produced by JJ Abrams if you were wondering).
So what's up with the website? On the bottom right hand corner of each Cloverfield photo, there is a date stamp of 1/18/08 followed by a time stamp. You are supposed to use these photos to find clues about the movie (the movie is so top-secret that the first official Cloverfield trailer shown before the movie Transformers didn't even officially release the name, just the date 1-18-08). What are the clues that you'll find? Well, be ready to get in deep and devote hours to it like everyone else that gets to involved in the Cloverfield project, because the clues are hard to figure out! Here's one tip: the photos can be flipped over. To do this, click on the photo near the edge, hold down your click, and do a little half circle turn with your mouse to "flip" it. A couple of them have information on the back - one is all in Japanese! I know, I couldn't stand it either, so get ready for a spoiler - the translation is for a "delicious recipe" from the delicious chef...a complete recipe translation can be found here. How do you use these clues? Good question, do a search for Cloverfield blogs and you'll find lots of speculation. For example, using the back of the photos, you can find names, and you can use these names to find the myspace pages of the characters, and get more info from their myspace pages, etc., etc.
The only other feature so far of the website is that if you wait for 6 minutes, you'll hear a roar! If you don't know about it, it can really scare you. This website really deserved the lowest score - a 1 in terms of content, but I gave it an extra star for the hidden clues and extra information hidden around. Good luck and don't get addicted! (P.S. A new Cloverfield trailer is coming out today before Beowulf!)Best Movie Website!
