The navigation for the new Harry Potter movie is very elegant. The movie stills float around the screen while you are still able to select each individual image to view. The “loading” image is a cloud that engulfs the screen, and the background has a 3D feel. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in 3D? Not quite.
But the website is very relaxing even though there is not much to do while there.
There is an interactive Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince “you-tube potion making contest” where you can get involved and upload your own video. Read the instructions at the official site to learn more, it looks very fun!
The “wishlist” part of the website at first looked fun and caught my attention. But when you add Harry Potter items to the wishlist they are actual items from the WB store. So, it is a wishlist, but you have to purchase which stinks.
SMR’s recommendation:The Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince official site has some free downloads for free. The design is very elegant and attractive. The youtube interactive feature is great for keeping you busy during this long summer. The only negative is that there is not enough on the official website.
