Lost in Austen is a modern take on Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice. Anyone that loved Pride and Prejudice will without a doubt love this movie. The movie follows Amanda Price - a modern day Londoner. She loves Jane Austen and Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett. One day, she is home reading her favorite book, Pride and Prejudice, when someone appears in her bathroom - none other than the famous Elizabeth Bennett. Lizzie has walked through a "portal" which is located in Amanda's bathroom. Amanda, surprised and enthralled with the idea that she can go into Jane Austen's novel, steps through the portal into the world of Mr. Darcy. Meanwhile, Lizzie stays behind to experience modern-day London. The movie follows Amanda Price as she sees the pages from the novel unfold before her in real life. Is Mr. Darcy what she expects?
