At the AVP-R (which stands for Aliens vs. Predator Requiem) official movie website, you’ll see that this aliens/predator movie is aimed at worldwide fans – from the main page you have to start by choosing a language (no assumption here that this is just for English-speaking fans!). Once you’ve picked your language and the page loads, a trailer will run starting off with the ominous “In space, noone can hear you scream…on Earth, it won’t matter” The best part of this website is at the bottom of the page – click on “Facehugger Widget & ECard” and you’ll be brought to a page where you can upload your own face picture and the website will plaster an Alien right on your face! The facehugger widget alien is awesome!! You can spend quiet some time uploading pics and sending out ecards with aliens, or adding the alien face to your myspace, friendster or blog. There is a sample of what the ecard looks like, and your results will be very similar, just be sure to get a nice clear headshot, and let the alien do the rest! In the photogallery, the AVP-R website also has some really great image stills from the movie, including some great alien and predator shots. Another link on the main page offers a downloads section where you’ll find AVP-R wallpaper and AIM Icons. Finally, if you have some more time to kill, click on “Watch Trailer & An Exclusive Clip”, and you’ll be taken to where you’ll have to verify your age in order to watch the AVP-R videos. Overall, good site, but by far the best part of the site is the E-Card Alien Feature.
